Visual Fidelity – We’ve resolved several issues across multiple locations that could cause textures to ‘disappear’ at certain angles, where items would appear to be ‘floating’ or where positioning the camera in a certain position could cause Agent 47 to disappear. Choosing a larger font size may cause text to overlap in crowded instances, where multiple prompts are on the screen. Interaction Font Size – We’ve added more options for the size of interaction prompts, allowing players to choose from font size 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35. Wallpop – We’ve resolved an issue where the ‘Piercing’ perk was not properly displayed on the ICA Bartoli Woodsman Hunting Rifle Covert. Silenced Guns – We’ve resolved an issue that could cause the sound effects of the Bartoli 12G and the Shashka A33 to not play when they are fired by NPC’s. This could cause him to be immediately suspicious in some circumstances. 
Default Disguise – We’ve resolved an issue that could cause 47 to start in a suit, even when a starting location with a forced disguise was selected. In some cases, this would show players that they performed worse than the entire leaderboard, i.e 501/500. Leaderboards – We’ve resolved an issue that could cause players to see erratic leaderboard positions after completing a mission. Trinity Guns – Resolved an issue where a white, floating attachment could be seen on the weapons in the Trinity Pack (pre-order bonus). Framerate Unlocked – Unlocked Framerate option for Xbox One, Xbox One S and Xbox One X users can now toggle between a locked/ 30fps or unlocked framerate. Trophies/Achievements – Resolved issues for Shortcut Killer, Dune Rider (Dubai), Full House (Dartmoor), Rich Harvest (Mendoza), Future Shock (Chongqing), Pure Poetry (Hantu Port). Requiem – H1 GOTY Access Pass provides the Requiem Pack. There’s more work for Agent 47 to tackle, and even further on the horizon, a new IP for IO to explore. However, it looks like IO Interactive is moving full steam ahead. The studio did see a recent shake-up with director Mattias Engström leaving to work on Crysis 4. Hitman 3 is in its Year 2 of updates, with several big ones like ray tracing on the way and PC VR already out. I am admittedly curious about what’s up with the Ducky Gun. A few pieces of content are on the docket for then, ranging from some featured contracts and reactivated Elusive Targets to the, uh, Ducky Gun.

It’s a new map that takes place chronologically before the events of Hitman 3, and IO says it will fill in a few gaps from the storyline.Īs for extra updates to Hitman 3, the next big patch is set for May 24. Officially revealed as Ambrose Island, the new area will be arriving in July 2022. On the flip-side, the new Hitman 3 map code-named Rocky is getting moved up. The studio is taking some extra time to ensure it’s solid, however, and is now aiming to deliver Hitman 3: Freelancer in the second half of 2022. IO Interactive says it’s been playtesting the new mode and getting feedback, which has been positive. A big piece of that is Freelancer mode, the new evolving way of playing through different Hitman levels.
In today’s updated roadmap, IO Interactive gives some news on its previously announced plans. IO Interactive updated its future Hitman 3 roadmap today, confirming that a new map is coming soon, but the new Freelancer mode will need a little more time. There’s more to do in the World of Assassination.
